Jeff has worked in real estate brokerage, investment, and the real estate management business for over 30 years. Shortly after becoming licensed at the age of 20, he started his career with real estate mogul Fred Sands. In 1991, when he was only 25 years old, he started his first brokerage, property management, and property reassessment company. He went on to found Horizon Realty in 1998 and has served as the CEO throughout the company’s tenure. Additionally, he has owned and managed as many as 40 companies across the nation. Jeff’s focus is commercial real estate, with his specialty being in multi-family and NNN properties, as well as development opportunities. He has brokered every type of deal, from leases and single-family properties to syndications and more. During his years in real estate, he has sold thousands of properties worth multiple billions. Jeff has personally invested in hundreds of properties both within and outside of the U.S. His wealth of knowledge and experience have made him one of the most sought after brokers in California. Jeff is renowned for his ability to bring proficiency and creativity to the most complicated of deals. His mastery of the business and expertise across transaction types results in repeat business with all of his very loyal clientele. For decades, he has dedicated his time outside the office to philanthropy, working closely with Covenant House of California, and Amanecer. His primary goal is to merge his real estate career and time with his interest in and passion for philanthropic involvement with foster and at-risk youth. This is Jeff’s absolute mission and reason for working so diligently and steadfastly. Coming from the foster system himself, Jeff’s merger with Engel & Völkers to provide international services with the luxury brand will allow him to further his objective of taking foster youth from the streets to meaningful lives.
